The phenomena of light scattering by particles
(That is, the light scatter angle generated by larger
particles is smaller than that generated by smaller
ones) is utilized to measure the particle distribution
of the powder samples. The instruments employs laser
as the light source, and a personal computer to
analysis the data collected during measurement.
By now, the Laser Particle Sizer is the most popular
instrument for particle measurement all over the
world.
